Medical Device Safety Act

Take action by supporting the Medical Device Safety Act! The Act, introduced in the House of Representatives in 2017 by Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, is a bipartisan bill currently co-sponsored by Representatives Peter DeFazio, Rosa DeLauro, the late Louise Slaughter, and Jan Schakowsky. The bill would be a turning point in the fight for patients’ rights, as it would restore patients’ right to litigation if they are harmed by a Class III medical device (such as Essure, hip implants, pacemakers, surgical mesh, and breast implants).

Support the act by signing a letter to Congress.
